INTEGRATE SOLUTION OF STANDARD EXCHANGEABLE BATTERIES (SEB) FOR LIGHT ELECTRIC VEHICLES (LEV)

 

 

Proposal abstract:

The proposed SEBxLEV project goals a European inclusive, open and Sustainable Surface Transport (SST) framework and environment built up by a Public/Private Partnership cross-sectoral Energy, Transport, Industry and ICT cooperation for enabling and boosting the use of Light Electric Vehicles (LEV) by means of using a Standard Exchangeable Battery (SEB) multi-vehicle and multi-user. The goal will be achieved through the study and analysis of the current barriers and problems of SST specially in metropolitan areas, and the development of new solutions and integration of available technologies for the new logistic and business models for all the SEB and LEV value chain stakeholders, as well as individual and collective drivers and Public/Private fleets managers. The proposed solution will be implemented and experimented in different cities, for the exhaustive validation in real scenarios and usage cases by end-users and the demonstration of the features and performances that justify the extension throughout Europe and world-wide, based on the final assessment of society acceptance, pollution and noise reduction, sustainability, efficiency and mobility, and the replication plan.
