The varied EGs On-Net coordination actions address the critical issues in the networked
businesses field, taking stock of initiatives for promoting the take-up of e-business practices
and the status of e-Organizations uptake; look at recent developments in the area of e-skills,
open-source and at progress in facilitating cross-border legal barriers for electronic business
and organizations; review the relationship between standards and business; take note of
initial experiences of the "digital ecosystem" approach related to EGs for activating and
clustering networks of SMEs; and help pave the way for future business networking OS/IST
market, research and developments in a improved supportive and structured environment.

ICT for Trans-European Cooperation and Groups on-Net

Abstract:

ICT for Trans-European Cooperation and Groups on-Net is a
common effort of six EEIGs promoting and exploring OS/ICT
solutions to improve the management and effeciency of their Trans-
European networked Organizations, Business and Projects.

Short summary:
In EU2cooperation EGs On-Net six EEIG partners join in an effort to identify needs, issues, and
challenges. EGs on Net will develop solutions to reduce the gaps between what is occurring presently
in the management of businesses, projects and assets, in our network organizations and where we want
to be in future.
Once gaps are identified, EGs on-Net puts ICT and Open Standard to work, re-engineering is modeled
and the level at which an intervention of research centers and OS/IST providers must take place is
defined. EGs on-Net works collaboratively and cooperatively with information and communication
solutions providers to explore, design and implement IST solutions that fit best our on-Net
organizations needs.
Finally, the management of this natural information environment and the sustainable Corporate Social
Responsibility exploitation guarantee the impact and demonstrate the result benefits for igniting the
EGs competitiveness and rising, simultaneously with increasing the environmental production and
extension.
